Toluca Lake has always been known for its charm, neighborly spirit, and peaceful streets. However, in recent months, our beloved neighborhood has seen a noticeable uptick in crime—with 34 burglaries reported since October 1, 2024. In response to this concerning trend, the Toluca Lake Homeowners Association (TLHOA) and the Toluca Lake Neighborhood Watch (TLNW) are stepping up to take action.
A United Community Response
Our Safety Committee, led by TLHOA Board Member Jack Balyan, has carefully evaluated multiple security providers to find a partner that meets the needs of our community. After a thorough review process and full board approval, we’re proud to announce that Iron Delta Security has been selected as our dedicated neighborhood patrol provider.

Iron Delta Security brings a strong reputation and a team of highly trained professionals with military and law enforcement backgrounds. Most importantly, they offer dedicated armed patrol coverage with faster response times, ensuring that help is never far away.
With this service in place, a dedicated patrol car will be stationed within Toluca Lake—not roaming randomly like current patrols—allowing for immediate response to alarms or emergency calls from subscribers.

Beyond Patrol: Community Tools That Make a Difference

Residents on many streets are now part of group text chains managed by local Block Captains. These chains help facilitate quick communication and fast coordination during suspicious activity or emergencies. If your street hasn’t been added yet, reach out to Steve or Robyn to get connected.
