Support Neighbors in Need at the TLHOA Food Drive

With 1 in 4 Los Angeles County households experiencing food insecurity, community support is more critical than ever. To help meet this urgent need, the Toluca Lake Homeowners Association is hosting a community Food Drive benefiting the North Hollywood Interfaith Food Pantry. We invite all residents, neighbors, and friends to join hands with us on Sunday, June 7, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. It’s a quick and incredibly impactful way to give back and ensure our surrounding community members have access to essential nutrition and household necessities.

What We are Collecting: Most Needed Items

The pantry is specifically requesting standard family sizes (15-16 oz / 1 lb sizes) of non-perishable goods to help them efficiently pack and distribute balanced food boxes. Items being collected include:

  • Pantry Staples: Canned hearty soups, chili, canned pasta, pasta, rice, dry beans, and boxed cereal.

  • Canned Proteins & Veggies: Tuna, chicken, salmon, peanut butter, canned vegetables, fruits, and diced tomatoes.

  • Grab-and-Go Items: Healthy snacks, protein and cereal bars, and soup in a cup.

  • Essential Non-Food Items: The drive is also collecting dog and cat food (both wet and dry), small toiletries, razors, diapers, wipes, and even clean plastic or paper bags to help pack the donations.
